AMBRELL INC. has an expanded line of lower-frequency induction heating systems, EKOHEAT models in the range from 5 to 15 kHz. With full-scale output power ranging from 35 kW to 500 kW, these are CE-marked systems that delivers power to the part efficiently, with “significant” cost savings.
EKOHEAT technology improves return on investment (ROI) by reducing energy usage compared to gas-fired ovens and resistive heating techniques. Flameless, non-contact induction heating minimizes energy waste by focusing energy only on the part and zone to be heated. With efficient power conversion and a power factor greater than 0.9, utility demand charges are reduced, resulting in lower monthly energy bills.
EKOHEAT systems have been optimized for efficient use of cooling water, further lowering the energy costs of operating the system. The EKOHEAT systems are offered at a very attractive price per kilowatt, helping to justify initial capital expenditure.

“Using an optional multi-work head controller, the system can be configured to deliver power up to four different work heads for sequential heating. Switching the output between work heads in multiple manufacturing cells or different phases of the same process streamlines the production process.”
EKOHEAT 5-15 kHz systems deliver 100% duty-cycle power and are well-suited for case hardening, preheating for forging, die heating, crystal growing, high-speed continuous wire and continuous strip heating. For these and a wide variety of other applications, EKOHEAT provides reliable solutions for larger parts of many geometries and compositions.
